I built cr34te.it. Anyone can submit changes to a website. Anonymously.

Of course there is more. Let me explain how it works:

You visit this website and you think: Well, I’d like to add monopoly clone.

How you do it?

First you need to claim a turn. If you are lucky, you can start right away. Or you will be placed in a queue. The queue holds up to 100 people. When it is your turn, you have 6 minutes. To do what?

You copy a prompt and switch to either your preferred AI model in the browser (ChatGPT, Anthropic, you name it…) or your local coding agent (Copilot in VSCode, Claude-App,
gemini
,
pi
, you name it…). Deliver that prompt to the AI, it will ask you what to change and create a patch out of it. Local coding agents usually perform way better, because they support local testing and tool calls.

The browser-based way requires you to copy the patch back to the website to submit it. There’s a small window where you paste and submit your change. It will be tested against a couple of moderation rules. Harmful content, harrassing speech, obsessive spam and such things will be rejected. For apparent reasons.

Your local coding agent makes it way easier, it can use the API to submit changes directly, however the same moderation rules apply.

Your change is visible for at least 12 minutes - that’s the guaranteed window.

 12 minutes of fame

. The next contributor may either improve your submission or overwrite it entirely. However, no revision gets lost. You can still browser to previous submissions and even share them:

 https://cr34te.it/?v=v000041

One thing worth mentioning: For traceability reasons and to maintain accountability, every submission is logged with a unique identifier and your network address. This is necessary to prevent abuse and ensure that the platform remains a safe and constructive environment for all users.

But wait, there is more:

You don’t want to wait? You can jump the queue by paying a small fee. But don’t worries. People in the queue will still get their turn eventually, because there is a limit: You cannot be bypassed more than once. Next time someone buys a jump, you will still get your turn before they can be bypassed again.

There are more “premium features”. You can freeze your submission for a given times. Right now this is 34 Minutes or 720 Minutes (12 hours). Alternatively, you can bump a submission from the history back to the top.

If you experience a submission that still somehow violates a rule or contain content that you may find objectionable, you can report it. A given amount of reports will automatically trigger a take-down of that submission, though: Every report will be also reviewed by the moderation team.

There’s also a way of expressing your support for given submission, but you need to create an account for that: You can upvote or downvote submission. Right now we support Google and GitHub accounts. We will not store any additinal account information except the account ID. Submissions with many upvotes will be more prominently displayed in the history.
